THE KITTIES LUNA (tortoiseshell shorthair gold eyes, female) Nicknames: Lunatic, Squeaky, Scribbly, Fatty, Unagi Born mid May 2004 (TAURUS). This little one is outgoing, friendly, playful, vocal, and ~ in short ~ quite a lunatic ;-) Luna is the little ambassador, and without her I am not sure Gypsy and Salem would have come around as they have. The kitten trio tears through the house daily, and she usually instigates wrestlemania amongst them. She packs toys around in her mouth like her "kill" and likes to sleep on Larry's legs at night. GYPSY (grey tabby mix longhair gold/green eyes, female) Nicknames: Fuzzy Butt, Fuzzy Britches, Squirrel, Fluffers, Furbie Born sometime in April 2004 (ARIES most likely). Gypsy has finally come around completely, and is Larry's lap cat. She follows him everywhere, and if he is still for even a moment, she is on him. Gypsy even sleeps on top of Larry at night. Sweet and lovable, she has the cutest little tufted ears and "snow shoes." Gypsy is Samhain's niece and Magick's cousin. SALEM (tuxedo shorthair gold/green eyes, female) Nicknames: Shy Girl, Baby Boots, Socks, Little Black Nose, Whiskerkins Born sometime in April 2004 (ARIES most likely). Salem is still a bit shy and reluctant, and just a little bit spooky. She took her time coming around, but now loves to sleep on the bed and cuddle. She has the softest fur and the loudest purr ever! She has come a long way since trying to bite my finger off when we caught her. She is Samhain's niece and Magick's cousin. MAGICK (black on black tabby shorthair gold/green eyes, female) Nicknames: Spook, Spooky, Streak, Little Mouse, Wuss Puss Born about July 27th 2003 (LEO). Very wild from the start, after all this time, we still have a hard time getting anywhere near her, and she is beyond camera shy. She loves to play with mommy Samhain, her bud Ronin, and the kittens a little. She has been recently spotted curled up taking a cat nap with Ninja. SAMHAIN (calico tabby mix shorthair gold/green eyes, female) Nicknames: Sidewinder, Mommy Kat, Momma, Pretty Lady, Wild Kat Samhain is estimated born the end of October 2002 (SCORPIO). She has tamed very nicely (and finally filled out after being under a mere 7lbs when we brought her and her kittens in), and loves to be petted and play. She jumps up on the bed now to request attention. She is really great with Magick and Ronin, but still thumps the kittens on the head if they get too close! Completely camera shy, if she spots my Canon she runs for the rafters. Samhain is Salem & Gypsy's auntie and Magick's mom. RONIN (black on black tabby shorthair gold eyes, male) Nicknames: (my personal) Parasite, Bed Bug, Snuggle Bug, Mouse, Pestikins Ronin was born about April 5, 2003 (ARIES). He is a love: sweet, gentle and cuddly. We call him our "bed bug" as he insists on sleeping right between Larry and I, nestled against my neck. It's wrestlemania every day with his best friend Ninja and he has taken to play chasing the new kitten trio. More about my little familiar apprentice at Temple Of Dreams (Familiar Legacy).
NINJA (black shorthair green eyes, male) Nicknames: House Dawg, Ninjakins, Big Man, Meanie, Grouch, Peep Born in October 2000 (probably SCORPIO) under Nicole's house in Hollywood in a feral colony. Ninja is a large, impressive but gentle cat, weighing in at 20lbs now! He is very intelligent and has a huge vocabulary understanding. Just say "NIP" anywhere in the house and he will come running and demanding! He adores Ronin and Magick, and is coming around with the kittens... but he is still a grouch with Samhain. He will always have a touch of that untamed wild little thing in him, and is shy around strangers (and growls at the doorbell). Lyric has two of his "cousins" from the previous year's litter, Ophelia and Grania.
BOO (black shorthair green eyes, female) Nicknames: Booberoobus, Witchkins, Witchling, Roo, Poo, Schmoo Born in February 1986 (AQUARIUS), and brought to me too young to be away from her mommy, I bottle fed this most precious little lady. Boo was my familiar and best friend. She lived with me in my very first apartment when we had nothing but each other, and became the pampered princess and temple queen in her luxurious retirement years. We grew up together, physically and spiritually. She slept with me every night, and was waiting for me every day when I got home. Boo went quietly to The Summerland August 6, 2003, at 18.5 years old, I will miss my beloved Boo all my days and nights, she was simply the best.
