CONSERVATION
We only have ONE Earth. One planet to provide for the lives it has given us. When a resource or species is
GONE, it is FOREVER. Everything we do has an impact on our world, and the world we leave to those that come
after we are long gone.
If we do not educate all the people of the world, we will fail. If we do not stop hunting predators to extinction, the prey species will become sick and overrun. If we do not stop poisoning the soil, there will be nothing left to grow. If we do not stop polluting the waters, life as we know it will cease. If we do not stop contaminating the air, there will be nothing left to breathe. If we do not stop using all of a natural resource, there will be nothing left to sustain us. 
Save the planet for Bengal Tigers like Genesis! In the past we have seen the impact of our actions. As predator animal species were hunted down, rabbits and rodents took hold and offset nature's delicate balance. Cats burned as witch familiars were not left to keep rodents in check, and we were beset by plague. We have already seen mutations of species that live in our waters. The first signs things will NOT just be okay if left alone. I do not use rare or endangered plants in my incenses and oils. I substitute something in abundance. I do ritual work toward conservation. I am a voice for those that cannot speak for themselves. I volunteer my time and donate to causes. I educate others. I DO WHAT I CAN. I do not use rare or endangered plants, or animals ingredients of any kind.  Save the Planet for all the wee Morgaine's of the world! I for one, want a planet WITH BIO-DIVERSITY WITH TIGERS AND SEA TURTLES, CLEAN WATER, CLEAN AIR, AND ALL SPECIES OF PLANTS... for my God Daughter Morgaine and her children's children. Aboriginal peoples used only what they needed, and lived in harmony with all life. We, as modern humans - so technologically advanced, are the only species with the power to change the fate of the planet Earth. We must learn to PROTECT LIFE or all will suffer the same fate. |
