WOLFCAT GALLERIES
NO you do NOT want a tiger or wolf (or any other exotic animal) as a pet! Exotic animals are wonderful creatures. But they cannot be "pets." Wild by nature, to care for one is much more than a pet experience. They have very special needs (diet, housing, and vet just to name a few). Most people are simply not able to have them as companions. There are issues far too numerous to list (including legalities). Do your homework, there are many websites that explain in vivid detail why they cannot not be pets. I suggest to anyone thinking of getting any kind of exotic animal to volunteer at a wildlife sanctuary for an extended time period (that is what I did)... then you will legally experience the challenge of being a guardian and the animals are always need! ;-) Los Angeles Zoo, California Orange County Bird Of Prey Center, California Out Of Africa, Arizona The Secret Garden, Nevada Soul Of The Wolf Wildlife Sanctuary, formerly California SOTW Wolf Cubs, Spring 2000 Wolf Mountain, California Zoo To You, California There are more critters are in the The Critter Clan, Hawaii, Renaissance and Garden Galleries ![]() |
